AMERICA WAS BORN TO RESIST
From revolutionaries who challenged a king to abolitionists who fought to end slavery. From women who demanded the right to vote to civil rights marchers who refused to accept a segregated nation. From cowboys who lived by their own code to outlaw country artists who sang their truth, rock stars who challenged convention, and everyday Americans who stood up when it would have been easier to stay quiet. Generation after generation, Americans have pushed this country closer to the ideals it promised.
Resistance has never belonged to one party, one generation, or one kind of person. It belongs to the outsiders, the truth tellers, the rule breakers, and the people who refuse to accept that things have to stay the way they are. It lives in the songs we sing, the words we speak, the lines we refuse to cross, and the courage to stand up for something bigger than ourselves.
That spirit didn’t end with a revolution. It lives on in everyone who questions authority, challenges the status quo, stands up for their neighbors, and refuses to stand quietly when something needs to change.
Resistance is part of our history. What we do with it is up to us.
